It was 1968
and my husband Hal came home that evening from work and after dinner we sat
together with another glass of wine. He told me then about his transfer (our
transfer) to a lumber city south, toward Portland, Longview. I knew already to
agree right away, not to make my dear Hal feel bad and I said:
