Marcie Sims is a teacher, author, and editor. She teaches literature/film, composition, and creative writing courses at Green River College in Auburn, WA. She lives on Vashon Island, just a short ferry ride away from Seattle, Washington. She writes fiction (short stories and novels), poetry, composition textbooks and has written one historic overview of Capitol Hill Pages as a former U.S. Senate page herself.

  2. Bubbles. Always bubbles. For celebration. For memories. For toasting. For marking the moment of significance. I love the way these two sisters meet and care for each other in such tender ways. Always thinking of some way to surprise and treat each other. The true meaning of sisters. Sisters who shared so many adventures, hardships and losses. Yet, they held what was most precious and meaningful with reverence and love.
