A Wonderful Visit with Katja

  1. I was just telling someone how I would love to see Germany, after hearing so much about it from my dearest friend. Fall seems like the perfect time to see the Odenwald forest. And I have a new idea for lunch, crepes filled with shrimp and a wine sauce, with a plum tart for dessert. Yum!

  2. I should never read Ilona’s posts when I am hungry! Oh my, the delectables described here are making my mouth water. (I think we might have an early dinner tonight!). Again, what a sweet and beautiful story. And the carousel part is particularly touching. I am struck by the resiliency of Ilona and her family; the way they were able to remake their lives after such a devastating war. My love and respect simply grows with each week’s reflection. Thank you and thank you. Love, Sharon
