  1. I have to tell you all that when I visited Ilona earlier this month and brought us a little lunch to share, she surprised me with my hard copy of this beautiful collection of her stories that I love so dearly. I was literally moved to tears and so touched–and surprised! I had no idea that Jessika, Julie, Luc, and Bev were working behind the scenes to create this stunning book and permanent collection of Ilona’s stories that I have been posting over the last couple of years and that we have all loved so much. This book has all the stories, most of the beautiful pictures to go with the stories, and Carlo’s beautiful cover design artwork.

So let me thank Ilona for this precious gift and the gift of her stories over the years, and let me also give a special thanks to Jessika, Julie, Luc, Bev, and Carlos for this gorgeous and precious book.

I will cherish it always, and share it with my sons, Marcus and Thomas, who, like me, are also big fans of their Aunt Ilona’s stories.

  2. I so totally agree with Marcie’s post. What a beautiful collective endeavor. And, of course, so many folks would come together to produce this beautiful gift. What Ilona has give to others comes back to her in waves of love. A pretty good lesson for all of us. Yes, these stories are precious and priceless and now will be shared for so many years to come and “the Ilona effect” will spread beyond what we can imagine. What a wonderful legacy.
Thank you dear Ilona. And thank you dear Marcie. And thank you all who worked to make this dream a reality. “Love Letters.” It’s is all about love after all.
