We both looked so forward to our day, when we could fly off again to visit my beloved sister Friedl and her charming husband Georg. After we arrived at the Frankfurt Airport, we found out that my dearest sister did not feel good enough to take in an evening at the Frankfurt Opera. Of course, Georg would not go either and stayed home by an open fire with a nice hot drink, some pleasant music and looking after his dear Friedl.  After a discussion, we were persuaded by my Friedl and Georg to go and enjoy the evening. We cancelled our dinner reservation for four and we planned to come straight home and share with Friedl and Georg a wonderful holiday buffet.   2. Yes, another gem that lifts us out of the ordinary into a beautiful magical world. So needed right now. I read this as the rain continues to flood many parts of California. We need the water, but not all at once! Taking a little side trip to the opera followed by a feast for the eyes as well as the palate is a welcome journey! Thank you for providing it. The sun will come out tomorow!
