  1. I will never look at a carousel again in the same way. This is such a sweet and poignant story. The beautiful contemporary scenes against the memories of WWII. The tale of two sisters whose love and lives intertwined to give them the will to face an unknown future. Christmas music takes on new tones, Today, may we remember that in the midst of tragedy, we, too, can welcome Christmas as a season to welcome new life into an unknown future. Ilona help show us the way.

  2. This story is so perfect for the Christmas season and 2nd advent. I could smell the chestnuts and see the snow falling, and picture Ilona
