Ilona Cole, Story 70

A Christmas Wish Fulfilled

The Lufthansa plane was descending over the countryside north of Frankfurt/Germany and soon we will arrive to be greeted by my sister Friedl and her husband Georg. My husband Hal and I will look forward to spending another Christmas in Germany. After we received our luggage and passed the customs check we finally got to hug my sister and my brother-in-law. 1. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all–enjoy this lovely Christmas story from Ilona–her gift to all of us this holiday season. Marcie

  2. A perfect Christmas story! I think that little angel has a bit of mischief in her face. Those fingers pressing on her chin suggest she may be thinking up a bit of fun! I think our Ilona also has a spark of that delightful impishness too. How is it that people seem to always give our Ilona just what she longs for? (She deserves every good and beautiful gift.) May some of her wishes come true for her this Christmas as well. Merry Christmas dear Ilona — and to all of your beloveds.

  3. This story is filled with precious joys of Christmas, seeing those dear to us, delicious shared meals, and delightful surprises. Thank you Marcie and Ilona, for sharing this little gem of a short story, and Merry Christmas!!
